CHMRC Board Chair

Ms. Khan is a force for innovation in the field of Longevity & Healthy Aging, with her finger on the pulse of the latest developments across the many facets within this field. She has a true understanding of factors that drive health behavior change in older adults. Ulya has been an operating partner and advisor to private equity and venture capital firms since 2019. She has been instrumental in helping her clients with their healthcare investment thesis while also helping the portfolio companies with growth and exit strategies.

Ulya is also a founding member of GoldenSeeds Arizona chapter leading multiple investment deals on their behalf. She serves on a number of private company boards including Marani Health and Tramuto-Porter Foundation.

Ms. Khan has held several C-suite roles, including Chief Operating & Product Officer at Tivity Health 2016/2018 with a $550MM+ P&L, where her portfolio comprised the flagship SilverSneakers product alongside Prime Fitness and Whole Health Living products.

Ulya has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Sciences and a Masters Degree in Management Sciences from Imperial College, London. She has also completed various Executive Programs from Harvard Business School, including Business Strategy and Managing Health Care Delivery. Ms Khan is also a Fellow of the Nashville Healthcare Council Fellow Program (2017).

Dr. Terry Flander

Dr. Terry Flander is a board certified family physician who has been in medical practice 30+ years. A native Iowan, Dr. Flander and his wife Becky have lived in Scottsdale, AZ since 2011.

Upon graduating from Des Moines University (DMU) with his DO degree, Dr. Flander practiced family medicine in Iowa. He also holds a Master’s in Public Health and a Master’s in Health Care Administration from DMU. Along with practicing medicine Dr. Flander has worked for a number of large insurance companies. He is also currently the medical director for numerous Federal Employee Health Benefit Health (FEHB) Plans as well as medical advisor to a large consulting company and a law practice specializing in the FEHB space.

Terry and Becky have been married for 40 years having been high school sweethearts prior to marriage. They have three grown children and four grandchildren who reside in Iowa. They enjoy visiting them often.

Ann Kent is a healthcare executive with an unprecedented blend of industry expertise and success in operations, finance, M&A, sales, human performance management, and client relations. A visionary leader, Ms. Kent identifies growth opportunities by connecting people, processes, and organizations.

In her current Chief Growth Officer role at ProgenyHealth, Ann is responsible leading the strategic and tactical growth of the company. As an executive leader with 25+ years of sales, business development, operations leadership and revenue growth experience, Ann also brings to ProgenyHealth and CHMRC, a documented track record of achievement in strategic planning, new launch initiatives, sales management, marketing leadership and large operations management.

Prior to joining ProgenyHealth, Ann led teams focused on sales, strategic business development, engagement marketing, operations and revenue growth. Her most recent role was with Tivity Health as their Senior Vice President of Growth focused on both new sales as well as current client retention and expansion. Prior to Tivity, Ann’s healthcare experiences spanned leadership roles in brain injury rehabilitation, home health care, physician practice groups and specialty benefit management.

Ann received her Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State University and her MSW and MBA from Boston University.

Natasha Goburdhun

Natasha, VP of Connected Communities of Care at PCCI, drives strategies addressing vulnerable populations. With over 20 years of experience in health plan, provider, and community-based sectors, Natasha leverages PCCI’s analytics for community health insights. She believes in building sustainable partnerships across the care continuum and implementing innovative models to maximize health outcomes.

Formerly VP of Business Development & Operations at YMCA, Natasha established a management services organization aiding 200 YMCAs in delivering chronic disease prevention programs. Her leadership roles at Aetna Accountable Care Solutions, the American Hospital Association, and consulting roles at Sg2 and Navigant showcase her diverse experience.

Holding an MPH from Yale, an MS in Neurobiology from Northwestern, and a BS in Neurobiology from the University of Michigan, Natasha’s expertise contributes to CHRMC’s mission of improving health equity and social determinants of health.

Tom Quade

Tom Quade

Board Member

Mr. Quade is a champion of health equity whose national public health leadership service includes a prior term as the President and Executive Board Chair of the American Public Health Association and as a Board member of the National Board of Public Health Examiners. His current national leadership roles include being a member of the Council on Education in Public Health and the Accreditation Committee of the Public Health Accreditation Board.

Prior to his current position as the Senior Director of Health for the North American region of Special Olympics International, he worked in local governmental public health agencies for more than two decades and served as a Public Health Specialist for the World Health Organization. His interest in public health stemmed from his time as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Kingdom of Nepal.

Tom has a Masters Degree in Counselor Education from the University of Cincinnati and a Masters of Public Health from Yale University.
